Specialist Cables

Cables such as Twin and Earth, Singles and Steel Wired Armoured and not so common in the office workspace, these are generally used to supply lighting and power to sockets around the office but can still be recycled.

You may have some boxes, rolls or drums of these cluttering up store cupboards from previous works that have been carried out and these are just sitting there gathering dust and taking up space.

The Recycling Process

From Collection to Refining

From the point we collect your unwanted cables, these are returned to one of our facilities and all cables are seperated into type

All Plugs, connectors and Supressors are removed and placed into seperate containers for recycling.

Cables are then seperated and put into two catagories Copper or Aluminium.

These are then shredded to reduce the size before being fed through a granulator to seperate the raw material being copper or aluminium and the plastic or rubber outer sheath.

The plastic granules are then sent to be processed for future use and the copper or aluminium granules are sent to a refiner to be melted down and reused in the cable making process.

Industrial Wiring

Industrial Armoured Wiring, Elecktrac or Busbars can also be easily recycled.

if you have a quanity of any of this material please email

info@cablerecycling.uk and one of our team will be in touch to discuss the process for collection and recycling
